Meeting about overview of finalizing of project proposal among NEPA with Agriculture minister and General Director of FAO in Afghanistan

Following GCF Global Conference that has performed at last month in South Korea, Schah-Zaman Maiwandi General Director of National Environmental Protection Agency met with Nasir Ahmad Durrani, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock and Rajendra Aryal the representative of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Afghanistan and other technical colleagues on Sep 29, 2019.
In this meeting discussed on project proposal (climate adaptation and mitigation in Kabul River Basin) which that provided by Agriculture Ministry with technical cooperation of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
Mr. Maiwandi thanked form attenders of this meeting and request that push for reviewing this proposal and send it to Climate Found Green that as soon as possible.
Mr. Durrani has directed to FAO leadership and colleges that they start work on reviewing of this proposal and completed the action plan in next two days. And also he promised that they try for finalizing of this project.
In continuation of meeting, Mr. Aryal promised that the will share concept of this proposal with Ministry of Agriculture and National Environmental Protection Agency.
In the final all parties strongly committed to deliver 1st draft in 2 weeks.
