General Director of National Environmental Protection Agency meets the United Nations ‎Development Program (UNDP), Director for Afghanistan

Schah Zaman Maiwandi general director of the National Environmental Protection Agency met the United ‎Nations Development Program (UNDP) director for Afghanistan in his office.
Mr. Maiwandi welcomed the presence of the (UNDP) director for Afghanistan and his accompanying ‎delegation, both sides exchanged views and talked about challenges and important environmental ‎issues in the presence of  Mr.Payab (deputy director for plan policy and oversight of NEPA) and Mr. ‎Malyar (deputy for United Nations Development Program).

Mr. Maiwandi spoke about achievements in the past few years and said that the National Environmental ‎‎Protection Agency is now making more progress than ever before in accessing global financial ‎‎mechanisms, but we need more cooperation in this regard. 
The Director-General of the National Environmental Protection Agency also briefed the Director-General of the United Nations Development Program on the future plans of the Office, stating that we ‎seek the cooperation of the United Nations Development Program in implementing future plans, ‎especially capacity building and other areas.
Then Mr. Aldardadi thanked the leadership of the National Environmental Protection Agency, briefed ‎‎about the cooperation of the office, and said: Next year, UNDP cooperates with the agency in ‎environmental ‎policy development, accessing global environmental financial mechanisms and NDC.
