The New General Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency has been officially announced

Pashtun Atef, the New  General Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, was introduced by Dr. Fazl Mahmoud Fazli,General Director of the Administrative Office of the President, according to the High President's decision, Dr. Jalaluddin Saeed, Advisor to the President, Engineer Arif Khan Noorzai, Karim Atal, Secretary of the Parliament, honorable members of parliament, respectable Senators, Fahd Momand, Chief of the Airline, Kandahar Provincial Council lawyers, deputies of government departments, tribal elders, leadership, and employees of this department were present.

Engineer Ezatullah Siddiqui, the professional deputy director of this agency (NEPA), welcomed the attendees at the start of the ceremony. They congratulated Mr. Atef on his new job and told him of the office's achievement over the last few years; they promised that we would work together as a united and committed team.
The professional deputy director noted, "We ask for the administration office of president for entire cooperation in order to successfully achieve the goals and policies of this key department, especially in political, financial, and administrative cases compared to other departments."
The Deputy Chief of Staff, Ahmadullah Navid, then read the decision of the High Presidential President confirming Mr. Atef.
Later, Dr. Jalaluddin Saeed, the President's Advisor, described Mr. Atef as a nationalistic and educated person, suggesting that for environmental protection, not only this department but all Afghans have a responsibility to assist in greenery and environmental conservation.
Following that, the General Director of the Presidential Administration, Dr. Fazl Mahmoud Fazli, thanked Shah Zaman Maiwandi, the previous head of the National Environmental Protection Agency, for his efforts. "One of the government's tasks is to promote devoted and qualified people to departments like Mr. Pashtun," he said.
Mr. Fazli promised to work with other sectoral departments on environmental issues.
Dr. Fazli highlighted the importance of digitizing all departments, particularly this one, as well as supporting seedlings in the country using the Miyawaki method and maintaining environmental plans, laws, and procedures.
At the end of, the meeting Pashtun Atef, General Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, thanked the President for his confidence and Shah Zaman Maiwandi's performance, former head of the agency, and committed to carry out his duties in collaboration with the organization's leadership and staff.
Mr. Atef will explain his objectives and strategies for combating climate change, attracting global financial support, cooperating with relevant departments, protecting natural heritage, expanding green areas, saving forests, and managing water, air, and soil pollution Raising public awareness, maintaining excellent communication with international agencies, and enforcing environmental policies and regulations are all main priority.
"Social and economic progress is possible when there is a strong and committed team," said the new General Director of (NEPA), "and our message is that we will work in a cooperative team with our staff to fight corruption and ensure transparency."
